We offer a wide variety of training for you and your dog, and we serve all of Galveston county. Remember, no dog is too old to learn! We will exhaust all measures of our expertise to help you achieve your training goals.
Check our calendar for upcoming classes. We offer a 6 week basic obedience class in Galveston frequently and in Kemah periodically. Several other classes are seasonal. Our current classes are detailed below. |

Basic Obedience:
For dogs over 12 weeks old. No dog is too old to learn! Join us and up to ten other dogs at our training location in Galveston or Kemah. We will cover socialization, sit, down, come, stay, off, leave it, leash walking, a fun trick, and some health care tips. Basic obedience class is 6 weeks and $150.
Private lessons:
For dogs over 12 weeks old. We will cover a few behavior issues you and your dog are experiencing by utilizing problem solving techniques and positive reinforcement. Lessons are 1 hour minimum. If you come to our Jamaica Beach (Galveston) training location, cost is $50. If you come to our 61st Street location in Galveston or Camp Bow Wow in Kemah, cost is $65. If we come to your home in Galveston county, cost is $85.
Mutt and Mingle:
Join us in Galveston for an hour of socialization for the mutts and mingling for the humans. Each week will have a different dog theme, such as problem solving or grooming tips and we’ll always have something new for the dogs to play with. What a great way to exercise your dog, talk to trainers, and meet some fellow dog owners! Cost is $10 for 1 class or $50 for 6 weeks. Class size is limited, so sign up early to reserve your spot. Intermediate Obedience:
For dogs that have mastered basic obedience, join us as we cover the topics for both the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen test and the Delta Society's Pet Partners evaluation. This class is an extension of several basic behaviors by learning how to perform them under distracting environments, how to meet strange people and dogs, accepting grooming, exposure to various new objects, and how to tolerate separation from owner, just to name a few. After completion, if you feel you are ready to take either the CGC test or Pet Partners evaluation, we can assist with that too! Intermediate obedience class is 6 weeks and $150.
Board and Train:
Going out of town? Why not challenge your dog to learn something while you're away? We can visit your boarding facility and train your dog up to five behaviors one hour per day. Or maybe you want some in-depth training with specific home issues? Cost for two weeks (11 sessions) is $710. We have several boarding facility suggestions if you need assistance choosing a great place for your dog. We strive to be flexible and can work with you for any duration of travel, frequency of travel (e.g. weekly vs. bi-weekly), and at any boarding facility on the island or the mainland.
Fun with Fido:
This is a short class but lots of fun! We'll cover some fun games, fun tricks, and challenging that K9 brain with some puzzles. Fun with Fido class is only 3 weeks and $75.
