Mutts With Manners

We are three friends who worked in the zoo industry together. Between us we have over 35 years of animal training experience, not just with dogs, but with exotics like cattle, horses, parrots, carnivores, primates, sharks, sea turtles, alligators, raccoons, lizards, and the list goes on. We love to work with animals but our passion is training them!

We’ve spent many years learning about and utilizing operant conditioning, and focus our training methods on positive reinforcement. This highly successful technique has been around since the 1950’s and you will have access to three trainers with extensive knowledge about it. We continually enhance our knowledge through continuing education by attending national and international training conferences, presenting information at conferences, and networking with other canine professionals.

Our goal is to help pet owners have a more positive relationship with their dog that is based on mutual trust and respect. We can teach you and give you the tools to troubleshoot most behavior problems or regressions in behavioral skills. We have many resources to assist you and your dog and we look forward to training with you!
